Are You Drinking Yourself To Dehydration?

Did you know that many Americans suffer from chronic dehydration? A new survey of 3,003 adults conducted by Yankelovich Partners finds that large numbers of Americans may be drinking themselves to dehydration. The study notes that adults are drinking too little water and too many caffeinated and alcoholic beverages. This results in robbing the body of water it needs to function correctly.

"My clinical experience shows me that chronic dehydration is one of the major health problems in the United States, " David Kamnitzer, D.C. said.

To combat dehydration, Kamnitzer recommends drinking one ounce of water per day per two pounds of body weight. For example, if you weigh 160 pounds, then drink 80 ounces per day-- more if you are physically active. He also recommends spring water or reverse osmosis water with colloidal minerals added back. (Please contact Dr. Kamnitzer for details). The healthiest cultures in the world have been found to drink water containing natural colloids and possessing lower surface tension.

You can find out more about dehydration and the body in the highly regarded book, "Your Body's Many Cries for Water", by Dr. F. Batmanghelidj, M.D., published by Global Health Solutions, Inc.
